sequencing final trak

i give my mc 16 bars , 8 bars 4 hook etc , but how do you record ur final mix. do ya use the trak on off function to get a live feel or pre sequence everytihng b4 hand

I set up a rough draft of the instrmntl and let the Emcee record a rough draft of his verses. Then I sequence around his vocals to make the final track. Then have the artist redo the vocal track correctly.
