Are there any type of beat/equipment conventions held around the nation? Is there one that happens annually? Thanks.

NAMM, but I'm pretty sure its invite only....

around me ive heard on the radio about "producer/hiphop talent" conventions. with labels there, djs, reps.

im unsure exactly what they entail. But is worth checking out in your area. The best place would be to call up your radio station and ask-as lots of people call them for promo type stuff.

but when i heard about it i didnt have shit ready,, but i know they are out there.
