[MPC 60 v3.10)Record the Hi-Hat decay variation in Cakewalk

Hello!

Is it possible to record the hi-hat decay variation in an external sequencer? I use Cakewalk 9 and have a MPC 60 version 3.10.

The recording in Cakewalk of an internal sequence from the MPC 60 with the use of Midi Clock is succeeded. But I want to record the hi-hat decay variation. Mayby someone can help me.

The only way I have been able to record Hihat decay in an external sequencer is to use an external slider (the mod wheel on my keyboard.) I use DP and it does not recognize the slider on MPC, I assume thats your problem too. The fact that the slider is on my keyboard, unfortunatly makes it hard to use while playing the pads, so I usually overdub the movements after.
Any way, to set that up go into the MIDI page and set the slider control number to 1. This is the same controller number that the mod wheel functions on. Try moving your mod wheel and it should now control the slider movements. I assume the 60 has this capability, for I have a 3000, but that seems like a pretty essential function.

Yes the 3.10 60 has this, it makes the slider respond to external CC message, 1 / mod wheel in the example above.

Sad thing is that 16 levels is internal only. Man I would love if 16 lelevs sent pitch bend and CC messages too to control external samplers, but it doesn't.

Some programmer should write an os that makes those two functions send CC's. That would be sweet. Is that possible?
