"Making The Film Score"

Hey wasup people's, i have this film score that i'm doing and i'm wondering
if any of you have done this before, as far as linking music to video
we will be using some decent software for video, but will tone down the quality of software if it makes the job run smoother.

any tips or software reccomendations/sync ideas?

i have a motif keyboard and akai mpc 1000 to make the music.
and they'll be using final cut pro or something similar
even windows movie maker worst case scenario.

they have dope video cameras (canon Xl 1 Gl 1, etc) boom mics and lighting, so it's a serious movie and i'm a professional beatmaker.

BASICALLY I NEED SOME DIRECTION TOWARDS AN A/V FORUM
OR SOMETHING, ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED...

I think Nuendo is supposed to be a good program for doing I score I'm not 100% sure but check it out it can't hurt.

ay dunno it this helps, but i've messed around wit Soundtrack and it is a niice peice of software, has a pretty big library of its own sounds, which i aint ever actually listen to but you can import other sounds/tracks as well, obviously. gettin the actually footage in and out is easy, can deal wit all different compression rates, nice interface, user friendly.

gigasampler...hans zimmer uses loads of these connected together as each one can handle fully sampled orchestral instruments....check out the one he did for some submarine film....apparantly all done on gigasamplers...

bare in mind he can actually score so is tranlating the sampler performance from the score....

I'm not sure but ADOBE PREMIERE will Sort it all out for you MUSIC AND VIDEO we all use over here to do our bait Channel U Videos!
