In-box mpc tools are very capable.

I was in an analog hardware phase for a while
I still rely heavy on yamaha MG mixer 1-knob compressors but I got rid of the other gear & now I just focus on making the MPC work. Outside of my yamaha mixer , the MPC is my sole compression tool. I really like the mother ducker & AIR channel strip. A lot of functionality in those tools alone
