Just figured I should name-drop this beauty of a program. (well, the interface isn't exactly cutting edge but the functionality it top-drawer!)

If you're a PC user who's wanted an auto-loop-finding tool for creating sustain loops, this is IT! Mac users have had Bias Infinity for years, but this program only popped up 2 years ago or so.
I finally deigned to try it out (new project- multisampling all of the decent [me being the judge] presets from my Korg Karma, since it'll be relegated to a corner of my room soon to make way for a much simpler/cheaper/smaller VA synth of some kind) and this thing is a BEAST.
This program has found perfect loops by default in at least half of the samples I've tried it on, and 100% of the time it gave me a perfect or near-perfect loop among the list of "alternative loops" presented with that option.
The prog is 40 bucks and it more than pays for itself in saved time.
It's now my main sample editor. (it's got basic functionality like sample reverse, EQ, normalize, etc) If I need any serious effects or the like, Cubase and a huge array of freeware VSTs have me covered. I can basically say goodbye to Sound Forge!
Integrating ak.Sys, my s5000 and Seamless Looper is definitely one of my smartest moves I've made recently. (other than acing finals and relaxing on the job at work)
As a side note, whenever I finish sampling/programming all the s5000 Korg patches, is there anyone who'd be interested in shelling out 10 bucks for a copy? It'll be like 200-300 Karma (same as Triton, essentially) multisampled programs, retaining all of the playability and sound quality, stereo imaging, velocity splits, etc, only more easily editable via the ak.Sys interface (or the s5000 interface, which is damned easy to learn next to the menu-submenu-subsubmenu layout of Korg functions)

I'll also be multisampling a series of presets and custom patches using the EXB-MOSS option for the Triton/Karma, which is one helluva synth. It's got some of the nicest specs around (much of what you could program on an MS2000 can be programmed using the MOSS board) and the chip itself don't come cheap.
So again, check out that program, and if anyone's interested in these sample kits, lemme know! I may do translations to other samplers as well. Soft samplers, Z series, MPC1k....
