AHHHH!!!

I dunno how many of you all use reason, but peep this.... lemme tell you how I have everything running...

MPC MIDI IN'S Hold - 1 Fantom X6, 2 Digi001
MPC MIDI IN's hold - 1 Fantom X6, 2 Midiman (That runs into reason)

Now my first question is.... does anyone know how to get the DIGI001 to act as the Midi's for reason? It doesn't even show up on the list to pick from.... I know Digidesign is stingy, but I ain't think they would be THAT stingy....

Anyway, I do have a Midiman, so i can use that

BUT FOR THE REAL PROBLEM

I have the output from reason coming out of the Digi001 into my monitors.... now say I do a beat, and finish it up (Using the MPC as my master) and I want to flip it into Pro Tools.... how do I do it? I mean, I can't play it and record it at the same time because it will make my computer freeze.....

So what do I do?

Any help will be widely appreciated...

maybe try rewire. U have to open reason after ptools is open. then u need to insert an audio track then have reasons out put setup in reason. like just use the hardware interface in reason. no mixer in reason just the joint with all the outs and the meters and says ur soundcard..Every device(dr rex, redrum. etc...) will have its own audio track in prtotools. u might be able to insert a rewire track in protools. i dont have digi so i dunno, but that is how u would use it on say cubase or sonar.

but doesn't rewire only work if you were actually sequencing in reason? I mean like my whole sequence screen is blank, because all my sequencing is done in my MPC.....

Another thing... i dunno the best way to set it up, but i have my Digi 001 like running out to my mixer, and my mixer running right back into the digi001 that outputs to my speakers.... thats probably bound to show problems somewhere.... man this is really killin me.... I wanna use reason.... but i think this is the reason i stayed away from the software stuff...
