I'm losing my mind. I'm not sure if it's my sound card or if it's Sonar 3 it self but my metronome will not play. I know it's not my metronome because it is playing the sounds from my microphone or MPC. However it just refuses to play the metronome for Sonar 3. I've followed the instructions and everything. However once I push record, it doesn't sound. I just want it to sound 2 times before recording, and all the way throughout recording. I'M LOSING MY MIND!!! The manual doesn't have any troubleshooting regarding this. What could be the problem?

well i think the default sound for the mertonome is the pc speaker, does your computer has speaker inside it. ? also you can change tht default setting to play like a note on a midi channel from a module, like a hi hat, i think midi ch 10 is drums then just select the key tht normally plays the hi hat , gm settings..
give tht a go, and see what happens

why not use the metronome from the mpc, that's what I do. Just set up sonar to sync to the mpc (options\project\sync and choose "transmit midi start\continue\stop clock", the correct "midi sync output port", and then select midi sync, and press "play" in sonar) and press record on the mpc and you'll have your metronome. I hope this is what you were asking for. peace.
