hat - always 55% on 16.......get wat im sayin?? i tend to play around wiv it an go wid wat sounds gud and feels right but im jus onterested to see wat other people are doin when it comes to quantize an swing.

Like you said it comes down to a feel thing.

But

sometimes... I might program 2-4 tracks of hats running on different timings (swing or manual step edit) to get a real loose feel.

SO you apply swing after you record the sequence along with shift timing?

Damn, I had no idea you could do both at once.

I thought swing affected a whole song, can you have diff swing settings per track?
