What you guys tell me about these guys?I only know few things and i'd like to know more. For examples you could list me some songs produced by them. ?!?
No I.D. did all of the beats on Common's 'Resurrection' and almost all of 'em on 'One Day It'll All Make Sense' . He also has a solo album out that's dope as f#ck but I haven't heard it in a couple years so the name slips my mind . He disappeared for a couple years but the 1st I heard of him in a while was the beat he did on Jay-Z's BluePrint 2 (It was one of the only bangers on there) and some other recent stuff .
Right now in my mind Kev Brown is one of the most slept on producers, period . He did most of the beats on Jazzy Jeff's 'The Magnificent' (that album is classic, too many people were coma steez w/ that one) and he did 'Special' on De La's 'Bionix' . If you can find the Kev Brown Mixtape by DJ Roddy Rod , do so . There's 40 something joints on there and 90% of 'em are all bangers . He runs w/ a crew called Low Budget which I believe consists of him, Ken Wood (another dope producer), Cy Young, Critically Acclaimed, DJ Roddy Rod and some others .
That's really all I can come up w/ off of the top of my head but I'm sure there's a ton of sh!t I'm forgetting .
