Truncating or getting rid of extra blank noise at the end of loop?

I have a little drum loop but near the end there is blank unused space. How to I get rid of that extra blank space to just have the short little drum loop?

go to sound, edit, then press the soft key play button and trim the end until it sounds right..then on the lower right side of the screen change up the function until it says play "sound after soft end" or whatever to make sure you haven't cutt anything off you want...change it again to delete after soft end and then delete it

at least that's how I do it
