I play bass drum in high school and my band director says all the time to be felt not to be heard. I was wondering wuts somethings i can add to my beats to make the bottom more thicker. A more felt bass. The kind you feel in your chest. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

or filter out the bottom and then add resonance to get a clear tuned bass end..
