sampling from a movie

any tips on how i could sample off a movie with juss the dvd and my computer,using a mic sounds like crap? plus i aint got any room for a dvd player and tv...any help would be greatly appreciated!

connect the OUT of you DVD player to the IN on your computer, record with a software program. You can also sample this way on the MPC.

My Mac can play DVDs & I can record the sound from them internally with a program called Audio Hijack. It is Mac only but someone might know of a similar thing for PCs.
