"Sub Crazy" Snare

Sup Ya'll! Remember that snare from Meth's song "Sub Crazy" off the first Tical album. What is the effect applied to it? I've heard it was reverb, but I've never heard reverb alone do that...

It was also on an old Scarface song from back in the day. I can't remember the name of it, but in the video he was walking back and forth on a street rapping. FOI were walking beside him and stopping when he did(gangsta!)

yeah that snare effect is nice. Gitty and raw. You can probably get that effect with an analog delay pedal and some echo or reverb on it. The Moogerfooger Analog Delay can probably get you close but you gotta add reverb to it. Arion makes a analog delay pedal also. To me Sub Crazy sounds like it got analog delay on that snare. I can be wrong but it sounds like it.
