hope i can get somw feedback on the real.
i chopped this loop in soundforge, using auto region, (i dont think i can go back to chopping on the mp, unfortunately) and the original song, a souls song from the 70s, slow as ever, is reading 135.7 bpm
i used a i bar loop which came in at 138. saved it as a snd, imported it in to mp, set the tempo at 138 and voila a perfect loop, i just adjuust it slightly to create a gap for effect when it loops around again, laid down my drums, and away i am banging. i really like the song, but problem is, who the hell is gonna spit at 138 bpm
it doenst sound fast, but it is gonna be a problem when a dj tries to blend, also most hip hop is like late 80s to 100, or there about.
am i doing something wrong, i would like it to be in the late 90s (bpm) but i tried time streching it, and it falls off, or its just that song, in a matter of fact the bpm for most of the songs are like 120 +
give me a shout on if there is any way around this.
