Too Lazy to Sample

What are some of the best sample CD's on the market with Hot Hip-Hop/R&B drums and percussion....no loops!

I'm too lazy to sample my own and want to spend money?? Any suggestions?

Actually if he were to use sample CD's he'd still have a reason to have his drum machine... He didn't put this in the Crate Diggers section... It's in Production Techniques.... Some cats technique is to use drum kits cause not everybody doesn't sample drums... Sh*t RZA who most of you would prolly kill to be half as creative as even used and currently uses Module drums (Protean drums) and Sample CD drums...

Sh*t I make beats with whatever the trck needs... If it needs a snare from a sample CD I have then thats what it's gettin... Most of nthe time I sample, but not always...

You need to open your mind to the reality that not everyone samples drums from vinyl... It's a fact... Now he said "too lazy"... I could see you gettin frustrated with that statement, but at the end of the day u gotta do u and let this man do himself...

That may or may not be... But I mean comin at the kid cause he wants to use Sample CDs is ridiculous... Half the cats in the game right now who most of you prolly listen to either use sample CDs or have audio engineers working on making kits for them and sh*t...

Where I draw the line is sampling from another hip-hop artist... That's just wack and straight jackin...

yeah. i mean, i bought mpc-tutors sample packs............and still use some of them in my tracks............and ive got like access to my emu shit........triton, etc. Plus the countless rock records in my crates-my breaks

Basically, whatever sounds good. If he doesnt feel like he can get some hot shit from vinyl, maybe hes not feelin it. Hopefully hell buy a sample cd, and realize, that hell still need to either mix his drums better, eq them, or work his skills to still get bangin drums. The secret is guys, there is no secret. Just hard work. You gotta know what you are doing. A sample cd isnt neccesarily going to solve your drum problems as it depends on what each track needs, etc.

But to each his own. Maybe he just needs to find his thang. Or maybe hes just sick of using what hes got and needs inspiration. Check out mpc-samples.com they are good. also try www.bayroots.com theyve got a sample cd on their thats good.

Moral of the story is dont be lazy. Money runs out.

Quite a few of them actually.. no samples, and I even created some drums from scratch... but I had to answer that question tho.

to tell you the truth, the mpc is used by more then just people who sample. i play out a lot of my stuff without using samples a lot of the time and my mpc is still my baby
