what would you use to make beats if you couldn't use an mpc? something vintage not something new i think...

You mean if the MPC didn't exist? I guess I'd be using a rack sampler and a separate sequencer, or an ASR-10.

If you mean I couldn't play the mpc because I didn't have any arms or something, I guess I'd have to learn to write notes using the same type of tool Stephen Hawking uses to talk.
