swing sometimes?

was wondering why swing only shows up sometimes in the T.C. window and not at other times... anyone have this problem?

it dont show on 8/3, 16/3 and 32/3.

What do you mean?? If it was 32T might be pretty redundant to add swing, probably wouldn't hear it. But 16T? I hear that in beats all the time. Primo used to do that alot in the mid 90's or so. Now, maybe in a technical music sense you may be right. But in the context of a crazy man bangin on an MPC on a late night binge, quantized or not timing knows no boundaries.

But you know what, maybe the MPC 'swing' doesn't show up in triplet quant. modes, but you could pull it off in 'step edit'. Is that what you meant?

Triplets are already "swung."
Triplets = 70% swing setting.

Okay I get it just another production trend. But 16T can be altered regardless to provide the same amount of 'swing' as it were. Altering 1/8th notes for additional feel is a redundant concept at this point. Useful, but nothing new.

i always thought they were straight trips- not changed from the template in anyway- perhaps not...
