I'm having a hard time tuning my samples. What I usually try to do is match my bass sample, keyboard sample etc to the same pitch of whatever sample im using. Sometimes its easy because the samples might already be close enough in pitch. But if its not Im in trouble.
I'm in the process of archiving a bunch of different samples to a zip disk to use when I wanna make a beat. So if I pull a bass they are all in C, Stabs C, Keyboard samples C etc. So I can just 16 level them bitches and get down ya know.
What Im doing right now is bouncing from pad to pad in the DRUM parameters menu and trying to tune by ear between the two samples. And its hard cause u hit one pad and the other pad cuts the other off.
Any tips or suggestions?? Is there any type of shareware or software available where you can audition two WAV.s and it will give you the pitch of both. Tune them to the same pitch and then save them?
