How did Kanye jack these drums, did he filter or something? If so, how would you go about getting the bass out? I don't hear any sections of the song where the entire drum loop is open, could he have chopped individual sections out?

explain.

thanks

he copied the pattern he used his own drums if you listen to both tracks diffrent deum sounds same pattern.besides you don't wanna be sampling drums from another producer, sample some drums from a break and tweak yourself. that's what dre did with xxplosive

Ain't questionin the info homie just layed out, but I think Dre took those drums from an old skool jam. You can get that kit on one of them ISP/Dirt Style battle records. I'll check the title later at the crib. Kanye prolly got em from the orig., or the battle wax I'm speakin of. They are no doubt distinct drum hits though with their own particular sound. I'll get back with the title of the wax......
