Goldwave

I know this programme can convert wav files to many different formats, but can it convert to a wav. File which is compatible with the mpc2kxl? In other words I am looking to record beats into my pc then mess with them and export them back to my mpc so I can use them as loops. I know some wav. Files are not compatible with the mpc.

What programmes do you use for this function?

Any help appreciated.

As far as i know the xl reads wavs.The only thing is i think you have to keep the name within 8 letters.

Stick to 16 bit at 44.1 khz & your PC wavs should be fine in your MPC.

Yeah goldwave can handle...I use it for all my tracks...
