How to remix instrumentals

Yo! Can anyone out there help me do remixes. I have a MPC 2000xl, Motif, and I use Sonar 4 PE. I want to be able to take a accapella and put it to my beats that I have created. What is the easiest way to do this? I would rather use the MP if I could, but the easiet way would be great.

You have to find the bpm of the acapella then make a beat using that bpm.

... or just pitch or timestretch it to fit your beat.

Theres a site somewhere where all you do is put in the time of the acapella and it will give you a bpm. I think it works that way I've never used it before.

Try Mix Meister Bpm Analyzer, It should work for you.

The tell the truth, the first step cpould be to run through your MPC sequence with various MPC program sound sets. Different sounds can amazingly make different songs. Find one or two that you like and begin your process building a new mix from there.

Get the record that has the accapela you want. Find the bpm of the instrumental. Then beat match that record to your own beat on the mpc. Once you've got that, make a blend homy.

Find the BPM on software.....NEW JACKS!!!!

play the beat back and adjust the pitch on the vocal till it syncs!!!!!

The MPC has a TAP TEMPO function (same button as "Note Repeat".)
Just tap the button in time to the song, and your tempo setting will change to the right tempo. It's a little rough (approximate), so you'll have to fine tune from that point.

WORD!!

Just hit play on the MPC, and spin the acapella straight in like you would if you were playing an acapella over an instrumental in a DJ set. Unless you really need to match the key, this is all you need to do.
