I have this from an interview with Dj Vadim on SOS. I didnt knew this and i spin records for 10 years and I know lots of dj´s who didnt knew this either. Anyhow, you can play back a record backwards with changing pitch with a regular turntable.
What you gotta do is flip your headshell upside down, so the needle points to your ceiling. Then find a spindle from about 4 centimeters in height (I use a spindle from crepe-tape) and place it in de midddle of your platter. Pull your weight of the arm backwards, away from the needle, so the needle starts to lift. Now lay down a record on the spindle. Place your needle gentle underneath the record and prezz play.
ha! You can do crazy sh*t with this!
