whats the deal with leaving space at the end and beginning..

..of your samples? when importing chops from your computer i have heard to leave slience at the end of samples. but now i hear you need to leave space at the beginning also and trim down once the sample gets to the mpc. is this true?

load some into your mpc & exeriment. then let us know

It's not a bad Idea to leave extra material on the front and back, your ears can fool u when ur chopping on the computer, then finish trimming in the MPC.
