Sampling Question

I was wondering if there was a computer program or something that can help me dim out background sounds from a sample? For example, if you wanted to capture someone singing but you didn't want the drums in the background. thanks

there is no program you can filter unwanted sounds so you can't really hear them, they're still there though. Eq helps on some samples but it's all trial & error try it out
and the search function on this board works wonders you should try it sometimes
