tracking out all of my beat it records kinda low,and if i turn up the interface it peak's..so should i normalize each track? or juss turn em up?

are u using a mpc, 8 outs? if so try turning the tracks or sounds up in the mpc.

that's what I was thinking...... go to the mixer, then set-up, on the right side there is a main volumn, set it to +12db.

I think both. You gotta put in the time, but reading the right thing can speed up your growth. Once sentence just changed how fast I can mix by like 300 percent.

mixing like it or not is pretty technical. u dont come out the womb knowing what frequency is responsible for mud, what frequency is responsible for shine, or what frequency will take away the proximity effect. All aspects of music is just math. learn dat sh!t. it amazes me how people are just scared of rules. We all need to learn the rules then learn how to break them. also a good room is the most important factor in getting a good mix, next is a good set of monitors and u learning them, then comes knowledge and experience.
