Oxygen8 USB Controler

I kno i can run a synthesizer thru this, but can i run my own samples thru it? and how can i do that??

erm... you can't "run a synth through it" or sample on it. As above said - it's a controller. take a look at m audio's web site if you want one of their "all in one sound card keyboard jobbies". or, hey, check out a novation.

It also runs on usb power(no batteries needed)from what I understand you can use it with an mpc 4000 just the two with it only in the usb port it's a very simple piece of equipment I got it free with reason 2.5

it will draw power from usb port, but not transmit midi to mpc4000

it's a midi controller. it controls midi devices. you'll get more help if you state what equipment you want to control, rather than what file types you are using!

well, i wanna be able to control my samples on my 4k like i control samples on logic.

have you tried pluging a midi cable from the oxygen 8 to the midi in on you mpc,


you cannot use the usb port on the mpc4000 for the oxygen8, you have to use a midi cable

Thought it would work especialy since that's how I transmit midi to my laptop when I use reason.
