The sequencer doesn't hold a candle to the mpc in my opinion. But hey! "Different strokes for different folks!"

It's just a template and it makes sense.
We alreagy have templates for the MPC, Cubase, Logic, Grooove Injection etc.
We will probably see ones from the Roland x0x boxes also.
Basically they just open up more aspects for people who sequence in DAW's.
A ASR-10 user will be able to sequence in a DAW and then apply the template to try and make it feel more like it was done on ASR-10.
In the grand scheme of things will probably be less of a headache than actually sequencing on the ASR.

I Find The ASR-10 Sequencer Almost Swingless, when Quantizing.
Or its just that I'm more into The MPC right now.

The Swing Function can be more of a crutch than an aid and is somewhat over-rated IMO.
Un-quant your sequence and get a human rhythm.

People who use an ASR or sequencers that don't have swing aren't looking for swing, but the math of every sequencer makes a difference on how it deals with note placement.
The Templates simply make it handle note more like that particular sequencer.

You's right, As A Producer I'm into a lot of Swing. You can say i was searchin for Swing in the wrong sequencer, so thats how i formed my opinion about the ASR-10 sequencer, which is quite stupid if i say so myself  .

He's right.. Nothing is wrong with the ASR sequencer, but to me
the MPC sequencer is superior. I have both peices of gear.

- I thought the ASR had a HORRIBLE sequencer?
You thought? Have you every played with the ASR sequencer?
