Anyone know where to find any literature on how to work the SP, or maybe just some links to great articles and tutorials?
The E-mu manual doesn't go into alot of the advanced techniques I've heard about and leaves many questions unanswered...
(For examp, when recording segments isn't it possible to layer various samples over each other? With dynamic allocation on it should be possible, but how do you command over each sample musically if you're so busy just trying to press all the corresponding pads? In other words, can each segment have several samples/sounds playing at the same time and if so how do you do that musically. Do you have to record each part seperately?).
All I know is no Hip-Hop head will ever fully appreciate the work of sampler technicians until he or she has tried it for him or herself, and that's my word.
