This Reverse Sound

i have no idea whut it is but it dont sound like a cymble,but maybe im wrong??

but 2pac uses it alot i think i heard it on "Letter 2 The President"

anybody know whut it is?

man i tried a bunch of em,does it have alotta delay on it or sumthin? another example is on BONE E.99 cd very 1st track you can hear bizzy rappin but i think his raps in reverse too,cant rember?

man you'd be suprised at the kinds of sounds you'll come across in your career as a musician/beat maker...

if its not a reverse cymbal its probably some kind of percussion instr. with an effect on it. i've come across some really weird sounds and some that i heard in songs before...

try putting some effects on one of those cymbals. try different things. put some flange on it or maybe some phasing. reverse it, add some delay and an echo...

i dont know....experiment!
