how do i kill this humming sound

whut up yall i just did a search and i found nada but anyway i got this record that is badly damaged so i dl'ed the song but the song has a mild humming sound in it I JUST WANNA KNOW IS THERE A WAY to eq it out like filtering or some software i am ina rush so i decided to ask yall thanx

it has a hum-remover.

How good it works - I'm not shure - but you could give it a try.

Dude - you sure about this? Records dont 'hum' in any condition! Humming comes from electrical problems like ground loops and in which case, it would not restrict itself to a single record.

that's tru pd records dont but my record is damaged so i downloaded the song but it hums like it was ripped or rendered wrong but thanx yall ima try soundforge when i get home anyway
