compression

Thinking of buying a compression unit, 2 b honest i dont have a clue about it...does it realy make a huge difference to drums? also has anyone coped the akai effects unit for d mpc?

When I start to want to use compression (for my drums mainly), I wouldn't go past the FMR RNC for a good, but budget comperssor.

Searching on here for "EB16" will give you alot of info and people's opinions on the effects card.
