MPC editor

Whatz the deal!!!
I have read a post on the MPC editor not to long ago. I'm thinking about getting it. But wanted to ask for some honest opinions. How has it helped you in doing what you do?

If you are serious about beats, and are using your PC to store your samples, it is the only way to go. Think about it even when you have the zip250 (which I do), you have to create your programs sometime and also at somepoint gather up those samples onto the disk. With MPC Editor, you can preview wav and snd files, place them on pads, then save the program, and it will automtically copy all the samples to the disk. I was skepical about paying for it as well, but it definately is a time saver for peeps who are trying to do this old school.

Thanks for all the input that was given. I think that i will get it. It seems like a god send!! I was down loading some joints off the net and once i converted the sounds to waves i still had to lay them in a program on the mpc. I have tried the 30 days trail joint. But i wanted to ask another question. I see that you can change some things on the mpc editor but can you hear these in real time, or they will only take place one you load them into the mpc?
Once again that's for the input.

I wish I could program these things into the Editor, but my programming skills are not that great. I wish they were, since I could just create a virtual MPC for your PC. Maybe someday.

If only there was a similar program for mac that allowed you to do all that. I got the one for mac, but its doesnt have the same functions as the one for pc.
