Looking for an Opinion !!

hello,

I am looking for some advice? I have an mpc 4000 and have completed several songs... I am looking for a keyboard to complement the mpc...

I want to creat bass lines for my songs as well as add some cords...

I also want to creat some songs cosisting of just keyboard sounds...
and use my mpc to sequence.

I am thinking of getting the triton le 61 ....just for the sound ext ? am I making a bad decision, the trito is about 1200 dollars.

any thoughs of what else I can do? any cheaper keyboad? or modulars I can input onto the pads...

I would love to cop a Triton for adding sounds to my production but dont have the loot.

CAN I USE THE TRITON RACK AND HOOK IT STRAIGHT UP TO THE MCP USING MIDI.....SO I DON'T NEED A KEYBOARD. JUST PUT THE SOUNDS ON THE PADS.... I GUESS IF SOMEONE COULD EXPLAIN HOW THE RACK WORKS WITH THE MPC 4000... I AM AN AMATEUR AT THE GAME..

That exactly what I want. The triton rack. And the cool thing about it is that MPC Tutor organized a Blank program in the Recycle 2 tutorial that has the keyboard mapped in order. So there is no need for the keys. Just play it from the pads in the MPC.

Hey folks;
I am a MPC3000 owner, so I'm not sure, but isn't it possible to sample or load synth samples and play them with the proper ADSR envelopes and other sound altering tools of a synth on the 4000? I thought it was much more like the other Akai samplers in its abilities to offer that kind of editing and sound manipulation.

If so, you may not reeally need a Triton or other synth for that purpose.
