Hello,
I spent all yesterday searching thru the threads and I finally got my mpc 4000 to sync with Protools

but when I try to track my beat , the resolution or quantize is changing my hi hat and shakers. I read some where to turn it off, but I can’t find out where to turn it off

I don’t want to waste anyone time so let me explain a little more, on the transport window there is a note, where you can select ¼ note 1/8 note etc. when I have it at 1/16 the beat don’t work right, at 1/1 it goes really fast, but I got it to sound better in the middle at ¼ note, be the beat still sounds funny

Please help

Thanks in advance

I never touch the quantize on protools and everything syncs up. you should try putting your drums on oneshots instead of play as sample.

hi there,
please check my last post here
http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=36052

i have the same problem, and i'm afraid to loose the mpc goove
when midi clock sync in enable in the mpc..

you should try the MIDI TIME CODE instead,
but it cut my sound at start.. when recording in protools..
did you try it ?

what settings did you use ?
