the cleanest possible vocals

Hey'all



I sample a lot of a cappellas and some vocals with minute instrumentation.

What are the best techniques for obtaining the cleanest vocals possible. I know completely clean is impossible.

Is software leading the way or are filters still king?

i would just leave the noice in there unless its to bad. this plugin may help you http://www.bias-inc.com/products/soundsoap/ , filters wont do the trick.
