roland jv880 is it good?

yo whut up yall just came arcoss a ROLAND JV880 for a smooth 100 i think ima get it but is it a good synth? i just NEED it for basslines since sample 95% it only 4mb off the top so i wondering how hard and expensive is it gonna to buy/find expansion boards when i need them but i since this just for basslines i think itll do the trick correct mer if i am wrong

yup. good synth especially when you expand the sounds.
as far as the stock sounds on the 880, you wont find any really impressive bass sounds. the bass patches are actually kind of boring. but the jv880 EXPANDED...thats a different story..
