does the es 6 have better bass, string/orchestra and synthesis sounds then the triton?

Theres' no straight answer. If you want peoples opinions, search the forums as this has been discussed alot. Then by researching, you will also find the consensus (if there is one) as to which keyboard has the more liked sounds. Posts like this should go in the MPC studio Environments section, too.

Go and check em both out at a music store, coz its all just a matter of personal taste. I bought the triton extreme 88, coz it blew me away and I havent regretted it. For hardware based electronic music its number one in my book.
