I've FINALLY figured it out....See, I bought thisImage keyboard from a pawnshop in Arizona back in 95...mostly because of the price....1 bill...I didn't know a thing about it, how to work it, what it did, etc etc...I bought it just to learn something about "keyboards"...I still wasn't up to speed on the terminology of music gear...But I used it mostly for bass...I knew it was multitimbral, but at that time, I didn't have an MPC...Once I got my MPC however, back in 99, I wanted to be able to use the Casio to it's full capabilities...but, when I left it at my brothers house, he left it out in a shed, and it got rained on...sooo...I bought another one this past summer because I liked it so much and was pretty familiar with the synth capabilities of it and STILL wanted to use it for more than just one sound....Tonight, a dream of sorts has come true...I figured out its multi timbral mode...How you ask???

I JUST KEPT FVCKING WITH IT!!!!!!

So now, along with my Motif, KStation and MPC...I have the Casio working to it's full capabilities...I'm feeling really good right now because I feel I'm going to another level in something that I have been doing steadily for over 10 years....for FUN!!!

Moral of the story....

Keep pluggin away with whatever you have and don't give up.....

Good on you dude.. The CZ synths are very cool. My first synth was a CZ1000, brought from new back in 1985 when I was 15. Sold it many many years ago but still wish I had the space to get another one, maybe the CZ101 with its little mini keys.

Can't see from the photo what you have.. CZ3000/CZ5000/CZ1?

Vince GOD Clarke swears by the CZ synths. At one stage he had 3 CZ101s but not sure if its still the case..

3000....They are ill man....People probably look at the Casio name and just shine it on though, but this is a real piece of gear...From what I've researched lately, many compared it to the DX7...some even said it was better....I'm not sure how a DX sounds, so I can't make that comparison, but I've been happy with this thing since 95....A friend left a 101 in my grammas garage, but I've never been able to find it...She probably threw it away...
