Secrete Code?!?!?!

Is there a secret code on how to make nice basslines? I am sitting here listening to Slum Village, and I am wondering where they get these basslines. Does anyone know?

2. Pitch down or filter samples and sounds from your keyboard or bass

^^^^Yep.. That will work.. If not then the secret code is Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, Select, Start.. But only at the start menu 8)
