Hi Im wondering if any of u lot can help me. In my "studio" ( my laptop, turntable, mixer, and mpc), I get a buzzing noise coming from my mixer to my speakers. The buzzing is particularly bad when my laptop is plugged in (as opposed to running on batteries). Do I need to somehow earth my laptop?? Becuase my turntable is already earthed. Any1 had a similar problem - appreciate the advice peeps!

try to put the power pack from your ltop away from the speaker wire, and try to turn the ltop volume down a bit you might get a little feed back from that , other than that try to change the cable your using use a thick guage cable if you can

hope this helps

also check your windows mixer to see if unused lines are muted or not.
I mute everything I'm not using on my pc.

I had this same problem when I first started. Just go to Turntablelab. com and buy a ground cable from them...this should solve your problem.
