i tried sonar for a minute and never really got the hang of it. cubase sx though is hot as hell and easy to use, took me like 3 minutes to sync it with my mpc, those are the only ones i've tried but im diggin cubase, give it a 9.9 outta 10 only because there are so many daws out there and i never tried those out.

yeah i like pro tools more then cubase though have you used pro tools its so basic making mixing the way you want effortless and doesn't hinder you with complicated menus and shit. im thinking of getting a zoom ms-802 check it out its sick for the price and it won't crash at shows .....anyone else?

DIGI 001 - there going for hella cheap now on eBay, like $500, I dunno I prefer PT to everything else, including outboard recorders (like RolandVS, etc), all i need now is a nice 17" LCD screen and a baby HUI.

Zooms suck.
