Creating Bass Slides

Aiight, peepole. I don't ask too many questions but I have one now. I don't know if my variation slider is working. I don't think it's ever worked. But anyway, does anyone know how to make a bass slide on the MPC? You know like how a bass players hits a note and either slides it up or down the neck? Holla back, por favor...

If you're using a keyboard controller, the pitch wheel is the way to go as it's already set up to do just that. Otherwise assign you Q link to pitch...I think it's cc #2 but It may be #1 and go for it...

Any midi controller should be able to send the correct CC message - I used to use an old foot pedal controller with a wind controller to do slides and dive bombs....you can pick up a cheap midi keyboard with a wheel for about 30 bucks...
