Becareful with that, you can really fck up your dynamics esp. with the multiband. If you want it louder, turn it up.
A lot of professional mastering engineers will not use multi band comp unless its absolutely neccesary. It should be used as a dynamic eq rather than a compressor

There's no such thing as typical settings. It depends on the subject material.
Personally I don't use any processing on the master, leave it to the mastering engineer. If that's you then get your mix right first as best you can. Then master the stereo bounce.
Mastering requires you to listen differently to a track then mixing.
In mastering you must listen to the entire track as one sound rather than individual parts.
