When i pan a sound to the left or the right in my mpc 1000 it still comes out my monitors in stereo because my mixer isn't pand.

is there anyway to bypass that effect on my mixer?

Is that sound coming out of the individuals outs or main outs?

You left out the whole cabling setup. more details...

The main out.

The to main out cables are going in 2 mic channels in my mixer.
my main out of my mixer is connected to my amplifier.
my amplifier is connected to my monitors

u should have no probs panning then. I don't know what your prob could be.

try connecting your headphones to your mpc and listening tot he pan.
try conenctiong your headphones to your mixer and listening to the pan.

Is there a difference?
headphones to the mpc will show if there's a mpc panning problem.

if the above was good then:
headphones to mixer will show if there's a cabling problem or just a prob
with the mixer itself.
