Edirol PCR-M50 vs CME UF5(midi keyboard fight to the death)

Whats up peoples, I am looking for the best midi controller for $200 or less. I would be using it with Reasons 3.0 and my MPC1000. I have narrowed it down to two canidates, the Edirol PCR-M50 and the CME UF5, but I really have no idea which one to get, they both seem to be great keyboards for $200, they both have a lot of pros and a few cons but nothing to wanna make me buy one over the other. Can you guys help me out with making a choice? which one would you get if you were me? Is their a better choice out there than these two midi keyboards? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have the edirol pcr-50 not the new one. I paid $300 for it.

Pros
great midi/sysex control easy to digitally mix with it. 8 knobs and sliders!

Knobs are very high quality, not as nice as the virus b desktop but still awesome. No. matter how many times i turn the knobs they always feel the same .

Slider action feels durable and is smooth.

PCR editor software makes it ez to save setups
aftertouch is aite

Parameters are easy to edit.

Cons
For me the keys are kind of small because I'm used to playing on the kx88.

I also have read things on sonic state that the spring action breaks or is damaged with heavey use. this has not happened to me.

When the pcr was first released there was a problem with the midi messages inc/dec by increments of 5, but this has been fixed to an increment of 1.

One time i pushed a slider's position fader at an odd angle and the position fader popped off, but i put it back on. It did not become damaged, and was not wobbly when it was re attatched.

i started the same topic a while ago on the cme-pro.com forum, and went for the cme. After almost 3 months orsomething I rather have an edirol instead to be hounest, they both have cheap knobs, but the edirol atleast has a decent driver and WAY more programming options (37 velocity ranges instead of 4 with the cme) and i believe that you can assign EVERYTHING on the edirol controller to midi, instead of the cme, although cme released a editor but its fncking buggy.

never used a cme but u can add a audio interface to it. not that it is the best or anything but it might be good enough for u if u wanted a cheap soundcard

a cheap soundcard? The interface expension costs 200 to 300 dollar! I rather go for something else in that price range

I almost got suckered into a CME. TOTAL PIECES OF SH!T.

The build is terrible, paint starts to peel around the knobs after like 3 months.

Very limited controls.

Many folks still can't use their usb on account of substandard drivere, Etc.

Action is OK if you like that stiff psudo piano Yanni thing.

Also you can split the keyboard (even on the 49 key)

I got a novation remote 49 for $200 and recomend it highly.
