Problem with Akai S950

Hi All
I was not sure where to post this, but I need help with my s950.
My s950 recently started not to play my samples in full length. It plays the begining but then it does not plat the whole sample.... What might be wrong... And any good places you could recommend for repairs in NYC area....

edit: whoops. i read forum desc wrong ):

i had the same probblem, prolly s a bug in the os... u must go to the single sample editing pages and reset the sample lenght, it worked for me, after u save em to replace the broken ones

make sure you've got the sample set to "one hit" and that when you're trying to play from it, it's on "play"

simple stuff I know, but it messes me up sometimes

First I looked and made sure that the sample edit was at "one shot". It still plays my samples like repeatedly, not as one shot and not the whole sample.... how do you reset the sample length

sample lenght is setted like this:
-click Edit Sample
-navigate to page 07
-set the end point,
then on the next page u have the loop features...
the end point trick worked for me but maybe yours is a different problem,
one last thing:
when i re edited the sample lenght end point, it seems like the number of samples increased from the original (like there is some silence at the beginnin) but i think that is part of the bug.
anyway, now my amen b reak chopped is back to normality

The sample length is set at the maximum, and it is at one shot but still when I prees and hold my midi keybpoard it does not play the whole sample and it plays repeatedly like a loop... I tried recording new samples and tried playing them it does the same thing...
really frustrated...
I guess I have to take this to a repair shop....

then you have the loop function on and set it to loop the first portion, try turning that off...or just resample the damn thing
