silly amen ?

this sounds stupid but what/how do you create the shuffle sound in the amen break? ive sampled them and cut them but i dont know what sample to use for the shuffle... and how to write the samples out.... like
kick-kick-snare-chkachka-kick-snare ... what exactly is making the chkachka?? i would appreciate anyone helping me out... peace

ghost snares? by ghost you mean just low velocity?

could be any drum combo- snare -snare, bass- snare, snare- bass- maybe some toms? what ever sounds cool to you. just adjust the velocity and the filter. Maybe make'm a lil off beat
