how to timestreach in protools????

can you timestreach in protools???? I can't figure out how to make a sample fit in a song???

Or can you give me details of how to timestreach in the MPC?????

you can timestretch in both, if you have the xl, the 2000 doesnt stretch. a couple different ways to get samples to fit. i prefer to pitch things up or down first because timestretching can cause aliasing and wierdness sometimes. but if you want to timestrecth in PT use the trim tool in stretch mode. click on it twice and it will go from trim to scrub to stretch. in the xl you stretch in the trim screen, go to edit i think then rotate the knob to the last choice where you can stretch to bpm or just stretch.
