mpc / fantom midi help

im using my roland fantom x6 to auto chop n slice,shit like that... you can either auto assign it to keyboard or to the pads- (on the fantom) after it chops it up... i am wanting to trigger these samples from the pads on the roland to the pads on my mpc.but i cant figure it out. the midi menus on the roland confuses the shit out of me ...so any help would be much appreciated,sorry im midi retarded.heh
